At least ten people were killed and dozens more injured as Russia launched a barrage of drones and missiles at Ukraine overnight into Wednesday, authorities reported.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram that the attack, which involved 470 combat drones and 48 cruise and ballistic missiles, targeted 10 regions across Ukraine.
In the western Ternopil region, strikes hit nine-storey apartment buildings, igniting fires and causing extensive damage, Zelensky said.
According to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, ten people were killed and 37 others were injured in Ternopil.
In the eastern city of Kharkiv, 19 combat drones struck two districts, injuring 46 people and damaging 40 residential buildings, an agricultural enterprise, shops, and other facilities, said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
