At least two people were killed and 19 others injured in a multiple-vehicle crash on the N1 highway in Accra, the capital of Ghana, late Monday, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) said Tuesday.
According to a statement, the crash involved a motor truck, a bus and a trailer near the Fiesta Royale Hotel on the northern outskirts of the city.

“Out of 21 recorded casualties, 2 persons died at the scene, while 19 others were conveyed to Achimota Hospital and the 37 Military Hospital for treatment,” it said.

GNFS said that they received an emergency call at around 19:58 local time (1958 GMT), and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Enditem
