3 killed in head-on car collision in Russia’s Murmansk region

Three people were killed and another one injured in a head-on car collision in Russia’s Murmansk region, traffic police said Saturday.

   The collision occurred during the daytime near kilometer 1,214 of the R-21 Kola highway, involving two cars, the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region said in a post on social media.

   Both vehicles caught fire after the collision, according to the post.

   Drivers of the two cars and a passenger in one vehicle were killed, while another passenger, a child, was taken to a hospital, it said.

   All details and circumstances of the incident are being investigated, it added.  Enditem
