69-year-old Leo XIV is the new Pope

Successor to Pope Francis, 69-year-old Robert Francis Prevost was elected by Conclave on Thursday at the Vatican City, according to Cardinal Protodeacon Dominique Mamberti.

He is the 276th Bishop of Rome.
