The Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), Dr. Isaac Bampoe Addo, has died at the age of 59.
Dr. Bampoe Addo, affectionately known as “Marico,” passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, according to reports.
Colleagues and associates have described him as a dedicated leader, mentor and friend who served CLOGSAG with commitment, integrity and compassion.
He was a prominent voice in organised labour and frequently represented CLOGSAG in negotiations and discussions with government on issues affecting civil and local government workers. He had served as the association’s Executive Secretary for several years.
Details of his funeral arrangements are yet to be announced. Enditem
