New CEO of Lower Pra Rural Bank bent on increasing branches

The Lower Pra Rural Bank is hopeful of increasing its branches in this fiscal year to shore up revenue and advance the operational efficiency of the Bank, according to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).


Mr. Ernest Nii Tackie-Otoo, the new CEO of the bank told the Ghana News Agency that he had initiated a conversation with the Board of Directors to drive this agendum.


“First, I want all our mobilization centers turned into full-fledged branches, so I am in touch with the Board to rope in more centers and possibly open new offices,” said the CEO.


Mr. Tackie-Otoo observed that the bank would look at diversifying investment to enable it stay afloat
emphasizing that his outfit will continue to invest in loans for women as well as encourage more individuals to buy shares and do more deposits.


He also disclosed that customized products are being developed at affordable rates to increase customer satisfaction and rope in new clients.


The CEO said staff salaries and capital adequacy ratio which stood at 10.1 percent had all received the requisite attention.


Sharing on his vision for the bank, he pledged to advance on human capital development of staff, whiles improving on general operations of the financial institution.


“My tenure will also advance on good governance practices and effective risks management strategies, added Mr. Tackie-Otoo.” Enditem
