Africa’s leading carrier Ethiopian Airlines has launched thrice-weekly passenger flight service from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, to India’s Hyderabad.
“Today, we have gathered here to celebrate the opening of a new passenger route, connecting Hyderabad to our 140 plus destinations worldwide as our sixth destination in India,” Mesfin Tasew, chief executive officer of Ethiopian Airlines Group, said at a launching ceremony on Monday.
Since its inaugural flight to New Delhi in 1966, Ethiopian Airlines has progressively expanded its footprint in India, now offering more than 50 weekly passenger and cargo flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Hyderabad, according to the company. Enditem
