Chadian, Guinea-Bissau presidents discuss bilateral ties

 Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno and President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo held talks on Thursday to discuss bilateral relations, said a statement by the Chadian presidency.

During a two-hour discussion at Chad’s presidency, the two leaders “reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and intend to maintain ongoing consultation on all issues of common interest,” said the statement.

Chad and Guinea-Bissau remain committed to working towards a fairer and more equitable world, the statement added.

Embalo arrived in Chad by midday local time on Thursday for a working visit. He left the Central African country immediately after the talks. Enditem
