Cameroon announces 26-man roster for World Cup qualifiers

Cameroonian head coach of the national men’s football team Marc Brys unveiled a 26-player roster on Friday for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup African qualifiers.

   Brys told a press conference that the squad was made up of experienced players versed in international competitions.

   “Many of the selected players are in top form,” Brys said at the conference in the capital, Yaounde.

   Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, and Malcom Bokele are returning to the national team after a long absence.

   The squad includes well-experienced players such as Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Andre Onana, Bryan Mbeumo, Carlos Baleba and Vincent Aboubakar.

   Cameroon will host Eswatini on September 4 and play against Cabo Verde five days later.  Enditem
