The Chinese Embassy in Tanzania on Friday encouraged graduate students in Tanzania to attend the fourth season of the China-Tanzania Talent Job Fair to seek job opportunities in Chinese firms operating in the country.
Chu Kun, commercial counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania, said the fair, to be held on June 28, will provide a platform for job-seeking graduates to interact face-to-face with renowned Chinese companies.
“I hope all young Tanzanians can find jobs they like in these Chinese companies,” Chun told a news conference at the embassy in the port city of Dar es Salaam.
Zhang Xiaozhen, Chinese director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Dar es Salaam, said all university students in Tanzania will be invited to explore the job opportunities provided by Chinese companies.
She noted that currently, more than 6,000 Tanzanians are studying Chinese, which serves as a bridge to securing employment in Chinese firms.
According to the news conference, approximately 100 Chinese and China-Tanzania joint ventures will participate in the fair, offering over 2,000 positions across various sectors, including construction, manufacturing, media, and services. Enditem
