Fuel prices at the pumps in Ghana are expected to rise in the next pricing window, according to the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC).
According to COMAC, prices of petroleum products are expected to remain stable until about March 15, 2026.
From March 16 to the end of March, fuel prices are likely to increase in the next pricing window.
Industry projections indicate petrol could increase by about 2–3 percent (around GH¢12.04 per litre), while diesel may rise slightly to around GH¢13.22 per litre.
However, the price Liquefied Petroleum Product (LPG) may drop slightly despite the increases in petrol and diesel.
COMAC says the main factors driving the upward review include rising global crude oil prices on the international market, higher prices for refined petroleum products, and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, which are affecting global energy supply and prices.
The chamber has also warned Bulk Distribution Companies (BDCs) not to artificially inflate prices or hoard fuel, stressing that price adjustments should follow Ghana’s official petroleum pricing framework. Enditem
