Founding President of UP Tradition Institute, Dr. Razak Kojo Opoku, has urged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to rally behind Member of Parliament (MP) for Abetifi and former Minister for Agriculture, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, as he seeks to contest for the presidential primary of the main opposition party.
He outlines compelling reasons why NPP members, especially delegates, should vote to elect the Abetifi MP as the next flagbearer of the party to recapture power from the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2028 general election.
The NPP will hold its presidential primary in January 2026, according to General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong.
