The company brought together all its employees and other stakeholders to appreciate their hard work and motivate them to do better next year.

At a ceremony held at the offices of the company on the expressway, the best employees received certificates, Chigo refrigerator freezers, smart phones and smart watches, as well as standing fans, while all employees went home with food gifts, including bags of rice, among others.

Daniel Brown, who has been working with the company for a little over five years, received an outstanding contribution award and expressed his gratitude to China Railway for appreciating the workers.

He emphasised that the company has assisted several Ghanaian workers who got employed with no skills to acquire various skills.

“I am happy China Railway has recognised and appreciated our hard work towards the project. One thing I like about the Chinese is their willingness to impart their skills to some of my colleagues who came to the company with virtually no skills to improve themselves,” Brown told Ghana Eye Report in an interview.

China Railway, which is currently constructing the Accra-Tema expressway, has undertaken several projects in the western railway line and others contributing to Ghana’s infrastructure development. Enditem
