The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the opening of the application portal for teaching staff of various ranks within the service, according to a statement on Thursday.
The statement, signed by Prof. Smile Dzisi, Acting Deputy Director-General for the Acting Director-General, observed that the promotion is for teachers attaining the ranks of Deputy Director, Assistant Director I, Assistant Director II, and Principal Superintendent.
Applicants for the various ranks, the GES announced, should have been promoted to their current ranks in or before 2021 and should have been continuously at post since the date except for the periods of approved leave of absence.
The application portal, according to the GES, has been opened from Thursday, September 11, 2025, to Thursday, October 2, 2025, and prospective applicants could use the link https://bit.ly/GESPROMOTION25 to apply.
The GES further directed all applicants who applied earlier on when the service first opened the application window in August this year to reapply. End item
