Ghana’s male senior football national team, the Black Stars will play a double-header World Cup qualifier against Chad and Mali in the first week of September, FIFA confirmed to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Tuesday.
According to FIFA, Ghana will play against Chad away on Sept. 4 in matchday 7 of the qualifiers at the Stade Olympique Marechal Idriss Deby Itno at Njamena before hosting Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium four days later.
After playing against the two countries in September, Ghana will wrap up the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in October 2025.
Ghana sits on top of the Group I league log with 15 points, ahead of second-placed Comoros with 12 points, while third-placed Madagascar follows with 10 points.
The West African country has made four appearances in the FIFA World Cup, taking part in the 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2022 editions. Enditem
