Kumasi Asante Kotoko will play host to premier league champions, Bibiani Gold Stars in an outstanding league match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed.
The Porcupine Warriors are seeking to pick all three points following their recent performance in the CAF Confederation Cup over Nigeria’s Kwara United while their opponents see this match as a means of appeasing their fans especially coming on the back of their exit from the CAF Champions League.
The match day between Kotoko and Gold Stars was originally postponed due to the two clubs’ participation in the 2025/26 CAF inter-club competitions.
Meanwhile, before Wednesday’s encounter, Kotoko will face current unbeaten league leaders, Heart of Lions in a grueling encounter on Oct. 6 while Gold Stars will travel to the Central Region to face Swedru All Blacks. Enditem
