Kumasi Asante Kotoko picked a point away by holding FC Samartex to a goalless draw in week 11 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi on Sunday.
Kotoko’s goalkeeper, Mohammed Camara, saved his side from defeat by saving a penalty awarded to Samartex late into the game.
With the draw, Kotoko maintains their unbeaten run to the start of the season, remaining the only side yet to taste defeat.
Currently three points behind new leaders Aduana FC, the Porcupine Warriors have a chance to go level in a midweek clash against Basake Holy Stars.
Samartex, now seventh with 17 points, will look to bounce back when they face Berekum Chelsea next week, while Kotoko remains focused on maintaining their unbeaten run as the title race intensifies. Enditem
