Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu and Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital Technology were involved in a road traffic accident on Thursday in the northern part of the country, a statement by the press secretary to the education minister confirmed.
The statement, signed by Hashmin Mohammed, announced that the accident occurred on the Bolgatanga-Tumu road when the two ministers were on their way to an official event at the Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education in the Upper West Region.
“The office of the Honourable Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, wishes to inform the public that the minister and the deputy minister for communications and digital technology, Mohammed Adams Sukparu, are in stable condition following a road traffic accident involving their convoy on the Bolgatanga-Tumu road today,” confirmed the statement.
The two ministers, with all other members of the convoy, according to the statement, are currently in stable condition. Enditem
