A 24-minute free kick expertly converted by William Oduro secured all three points for Hohoe United FC against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in match day 13 of the Ghana Premier League at Hohoe on Sunday.
The home team took control of the game right from the blast of the whistle as they dominated play but could not add to the tally by the end of the first half.
Back from recess, Kotoko, who have lost points both at home and on the road, lifted up their game to chase for the equaliser.
Despite the mounting pressure, the defenders of Hohoe United remained at bay to keep the Kotoko onslaught.
Hohoe United becomes the second team to have beaten Kotoko in the GPL so far after Basake Holy Stars and moves to the 7th position on the league log, while their opponents move to the 5th position with 21 points. Enditem
