Mahama faces media tonight

Ghanaian president John Dramani Mahama is set to face the media tonight in a Presidential Media Encounter, the presidency confirmed over the weekend.

The encounter, according to Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu will be held at the Jubilee House at 8.00pm with accredited members of the media in the country.

The purpose of the media encounter will allow President Mahama to lay out his administration’s “Resetting Ghana Agenda”, update the public on priority policies and ongoing development projects, and directly address pressing national issues.

Accredited journalists will have the opportunity to question the president on a wide range of topics, including the economy, infrastructure, energy, and social intervention programmes.

This is the first time the Ghanaian leader is engaging in such a media forum since returning to office in his second term in January 2025, marking a significant communications milestone in his presidency. Enditem
