The President, John Dramani Mahama has nominated seven Justices of the Court of Appeal to the country’s Supreme Court, this is according to a statement released here on Wednesday.
The statement signed by Calistus Mahama, Secretary to the President and addressed to Acting Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie said the Justices have been nominated for consideration to be appointed to the apex court.
“Pursuant to Article 144(2) of the Constitution of Ghana 1992, His Excellency the President has nominated the following Justices of the Court of Appeal to be considered for appointment to the Supreme Court,” said the statement.
Among the Justices include Sir Dennis Adjei, Gbiel Simon Suubaareh, Senyo Dzamefe and Kweku Tawiah Ackaah-Boafo.
The rest are Justices Philip Bright Mensah, Janapare Bartels-Kodwo and Hafisata Amaleboba. Enditem
