Mahama to embark on “Resetting Ghana Tour” on March 18 to inspect projects nationwide

President John Dramani Mahama will embark on a nationwide tour starting March 18 to inspect ongoing government projects and assess their progress, according to presidential spokesperson on Tuesday.

The exercise, dubbed the “Resetting Ghana Tour,” aims to bring the government closer to citizens, engage grassroots communities, and provide updates on national policies and development initiatives.

The tour will commence in the Bono Region, with participation from regional ministers, local government officials, and other key stakeholders.

Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, said the tour will provide a hands-on opportunity to evaluate project sites across the country.

“The President believes it is not enough for ministers to brief the nation from the presidency. He is stepping out to lead the ‘Resetting the Ghana Project’, starting from the Bono Region tomorrow, all things being equal.

“This is a nationwide exercise where he will be joined by several ministers, regional officials, district chief executives, and other local leaders to tour project sites, engage with opinion leaders, chiefs, and influential community stakeholders,” he said. Enditem
