Medvedev expects Ukraine talks to end in peace

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev expressed hope that the ongoing negotiations on Ukraine will ultimately lead to peace, local media reported on Tuesday.

   He said that any negotiation process ultimately ends in peace if it is conducted properly, while answering a question during Russia’s educational marathon, Knowledge First.

   At the same time, he said that the Kiev regime must be replaced, or the conflict could continue for many years.

   Medvedev further noted the importance of the ongoing dialogue between Moscow and Washington, saying that Russia and the United States, being the largest nuclear powers, bear primary responsibility for stable global development.  Enditem
