The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has released an updated list of approved voting centres for its presidential primary scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026.

The list details where party delegates will cast their ballots nationwide as the party prepares to select its flagbearer for the 2028 general election.

The approved voting centres cover all 16 regions of Ghana, including Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Volta, Western, Central, Northern, Upper East, Upper West, Oti, Bono, Bono East, Savannah, Northeast, Ahafo, and Western North.

Most venues are public and familiar locations such as basic and senior high schools, community halls, police stations, church premises and other public facilities.

The revised list has also been circulated with GPS coordinates to help delegates and officials locate their designated centres and avoid confusion on election day.

The list was issued hours before voting begins to guide accredited delegates on where to cast their votes.

Voting centres are structured around constituencies and regions to ensure an orderly and efficient process across the country.

The largest opposition party goes to the polls on Saturday where over 211,000 delegates will elect a flagbearer among five contenders to lead the party in the 2028 general election. Enditem
