Paul Twum Barimah congratulates Dr Bawumia on NPP presidential primary victory

A former Member of Parliament for Dormaa East, Paul Apraku Twum Barimah, has congratulated Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia following his decisive victory in the just-ended New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Primaries.

In a statement, the former lawmaker described Dr Bawumia’s victory as overwhelming and decisive, saying it clearly reflects the massive love, confidence, and support he enjoys among party delegates and supporters across the country.

According to him, the outcome of the primaries is a strong indication that the NPP is on course to win the December 7, 2028 general elections, expressing confidence that Dr Bawumia will become Ghana’s next President.

“I believe this victory is a special one and a clear pathway to winning the 2028 general elections. Dr Bawumia is the next President of the Republic of Ghana,” the statement said.

He described Dr Bawumia as a leader of integrity, discipline, transparency, and accountability, adding that the Vice President is a God-fearing and loyal public servant with a clean public record.

“Dr Bawumia is not corrupt and will never be corrupt. He is a disciplined and God-loving man committed to national development,” he noted.

The former MP pledged his full support, together with that of his constituents, to ensure Dr Bawumia’s victory in 2028, assuring that they would work tirelessly to secure success for the NPP.

He urged all members of the New Patriotic Party to remain united and work collectively to support the party and its flagbearer to achieve victory in the upcoming general elections.
