Second Session of Ninth Parliament set to commence on Feb. 3

The second session of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana is set to commence on February 3, 2026, according to a statement on Tuesday.

The statement, signed by Rt. Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament also said the session will start at 12 noon.

“Know ye all men that in the exercise of the powers conferred on the Speaker by clause (1) of article 112 of the Constitution, I, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, appoint Parliament House, Accra, to be the place, and 12 noon of Tuesday, 3rd February, 2026 to be the time at which the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic shall commence,” read the statement.
