South Africa’s Casey Jarvis won his maiden DP World Tour golf title when he wrapped a wire-to-wire victory at the 2026 Magical Kenya Open in Kenya’s capital Nairobi on Sunday.
The 22-year-old, who had shared the lead after each of the first three rounds, held off playing partner Davis Bryant in a final round twice interrupted by stormy conditions.
Jarvis carded six birdies and rounded off his closing round of 62 with a second eagle of the day to win by three strokes.
“It’s amazing, I have actually never won in front of my dad before, I have wanted to win in front of him so badly, and to finally do it when he is here, I can’t explain the emotions. I was so nervous coming down the last two, so it feels great,” Jarvis said after his victory at Karen Country Club.
Jarvis’ compatriot Hennie Du Plessis was a shot behind the U.S.’s Bryant on 21 under for the tournament to finish third.
Last year’s winner, fellow South African Jacques Kruyswijk shot a final round of 65 to finish inside the top 20.
Njoroge Kibugu, 22, the only Kenyan to make the cut, finished tied for 61st after firing six under for the tournament. Enditem
