Swedru All Blacks fall to Bibiani Gold Stars at home

Bibiani Gold Stars maintained their perfect start to the new Ghana Premier League (GPL) season with a narrow 1-0 victory over All Blacks at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Saturday.

An early strike few minutes into the second half of the game by Gold Stars forward Michael Nkoah was enough to hand the defending champions all three points in a closely contested Matchday 4 encounter.

The newly promoted All Blacks, buoyed by their home crowd, started brightly and dominated possession throughout the opening half.

They created several promising openings but were unable to utilize those chances largely due to the resilience of the defensive set up of Gold Stars led by experienced defender Vincent Atingah.

Swedru All Blacks responded with renewed urgency and almost levelled late into the game when substitute Hakim Mohammed saw his effort cannon off the woodwork in stoppage time. Enditem
