The University of Ghana has announced a revised start date for course registration for undergraduate students entering the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, a notice issued here over the weekend said.
In a notice signed by Mrs. Lydia Anowa Nyako, Director of Academic Affairs, the university announced that course registration for the various programs will now officially begin on Monday, 15th December 2025, instead of the previously communicated date.
The university encouraged students to take advantage of the earlier start to secure their preferred courses and complete their registration without delay.
“We encourage students to take advantage of this earlier start to secure their courses and complete registration promptly,” read the notice.
While the start date has been revised, the registration deadlines remain unchanged for all categories of students. Students are advised to consult the university’s academic calendar available online at https://www.ug.edu.gh/academics/calendar for further details.
The notice also directed students with academic and financial issues to contact their various college academic offices and the student accounts office, respectively.
The university further announced tentative dates for random bed allocation for regular continuing students as scheduled to start from Monday, December 29, 2025, while that of regular Level 100 students will commence on Monday, January 12, 2026.
The university emphasized that timely sign-up is essential for students wishing to participate in the random bed allocation process.
The Academic Affairs Directorate thanked students for their cooperation and expressed optimism for a smooth and successful registration period. End item
