A total of 7,163 delegates are expected to vote in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) national officers’ election scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026.
The election will be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, where delegates will elect the party’s national officers for the next term.
The conference is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m., with voting expected to commence at 12:00 p.m. across 31 polling stations under the supervision of the Electoral Commission. Delegates must present a Ghana Card, Voter ID or NPP party card for verification.
Nine national positions are being contested, including National Chairman, Vice Chairpersons, General Secretary, National Organiser, National Women’s Organiser, National Youth Organiser, National Nasara Organiser, National Treasurer and National Communications Director.
The conference forms part of the NPP’s ongoing reorganisation ahead of the 2028 general elections. Enditem
