The top clubs in Ghana, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak, recorded wins in their respective Ghana Premier League games on matchday eight ahead of the Super Clash next week.
Kotoko, after being eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup by Wydad Club of Morocco last week, put up an outstanding performance, defeating Karela United by 4-2 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Hearts, on the other hand, fought hard, securing a 2-1 victory against Basake Holy Stars at the AAK Sports Arena in Ampain.
Kotoko is set to play Hearts in a Super Clash at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
