Kotoko thrash Bechem United 6-0 in last game of 2025

Three goals from each half of the game gave Kumasi Asante Kotoko an emphatic 6-0 win against Bechem United in matchday 16 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday.

Kotoko striker, Morifin Donzo, opened the scoring as early as the 9th minute after an initial dominance by the visitors, which saw them hitting the post.

Captain of the home team, Samba O’Nie,l doubled the scores for the Porcupines midway in the first half before Donzo added a third and his personal second of the day before the end of the break.

Kotoko continued their ruthless attacks in the second half and saw their efforts pay off when Hubert Gyau, as well as substitutes Johnson Owusu and Kwame Opoku, all found thee net, completing a 6-0 thumping of the Bechem team.

With the win, the Porcupine Warriors now occupy the top position of the GPL ahead of the last round of matches for the end of the first-round next week.

The heavy defeat leaves Bechem United among the bottom three of the Premier League, deepening their relegation woes as the year comes to an end. Enditem
