Matchday 20 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL) was honoured in all league centres across the country, with Hearts of Oak, Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC and Medeama SC recording big wins over the weekend.
Hearts of Oak began it all on Friday with a 3-0 win over Eleven Wonder at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium at Legon.
After going winless in three matches, Asante Kotoko returned to winning ways spectacularly with the return of Albert Amoah.
Kotoko’s captain, Samba O’Niel, opened the scoring for the Porcupines while Albert Amoah marked his return with a spectacular goal, and Kwame Opoku made it three in a similar fashion to Amoah after receiving an assist from his fellow striker.
League leaders Medeama continued their dominant performance in the GPL as they beat Karela United by 3-1.
Samartex FC, Bechem United, Berekum Chelsea, and Aduana Stars all recorded wins over Nations FC, Heart of Lions, Bibiani Gold Stars and Swedru All Blacks, respectively.
