Dormaa-based club, Aduana FC ended Asante Kotoko’s unbeaten start to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season with a 2–0 victory at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday.
Stephen Amankona gave Aduana an early lead in the sixth minute after a goalkeeping howler by Danlad Ibrahim before Raymond Agyemang was sent off after receiving a second yellow card in the 43rd minute.
Despite playing with 10 men for the entire second half, Aduana held on to add a second goal in injury time to secure all three points.
The defeat ends Kotoko’s unbeaten run after three matches, having recorded a win and two draws in their opening fixtures. Enditem
