Narcotics Control Commission arrests passenger with 92 slabs of cannabis at KIA

A major drug bust at the Kotoka International Airport Sunday afternoon has led to the arrest of a passenger arriving on an Emirates flight, found in possession of 92 slabs of cannabis weighing 53.60 kilograms, according to the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC).

The arrest, the Narcotics Control Commission observed also implicated a Ghana Customs officer and a third accomplice.

The suspects are currently in custody as investigations continue into the smuggling attempt and potential network behind the illicit operation. Enditem
