Ghanaian R&B and afro-fusion singer Jackline Acheampong, also known as Gyakie, has opened up about her relationship status.
In an interview on TV3’s The Afternoon Show, Wednesday, May 28, the ‘Rent Free’ hitmaker said at the moment, “I am single,” while responding to a question about her relationship status.
Gyakie announced her upcoming album, After Midnight, which will be released soon.
For fans curious to know about her love life, Gyakie urged them to look out for her upcoming album, After Midnight. She insisted that all about her love life is contained in her upcoming album.
“My love life is in the album. The answer to that question is in the album (After Midnight),” she said.
Gyakie released a single, ‘Sankofa’, on Friday, May 23, to tease fans about her upcoming album. ‘Sankofa’ is included in the list of songs on her ‘After Midnight’ album.
Gyakie noted that she does not mind using public transport to a particular destination, despite the social media conversation it could generate.
“I can. Maybe it will be very loud and all, but I don’t mind sitting in a trotro to go somewhere. I will sit in a trotro 100%. I think that will be something that will be good,” Gyakie said. Enditem
