Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday submitted bills to parliament, seeking a 90-day extension of martial law and general mobilization.
The proposal will extend both measures to Nov. 5 after their scheduled expiration date on Aug. 7, according to the parliament’s press service.
The martial law and general mobilization have been extended 15 times since they were first introduced in February 2022 in response to the ongoing conflict with Russia. Enditem
