New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is scheduled to speak at the London Sschool of Economics (LSE) Africa Summit 2026 on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
He is expected to deliver a keynote address at the summit hosted by the London School of Economics, where he will speak on the theme: “Artificial Intelligence and Uniting Borders in Africa.”
The summit brings together policymakers, academics, students, and industry leaders providing a platform for discussing Africa’s future and exploring innovative solutions to the continent’s most pressing issues.
The former Ghanaian Vice President is expected to highlight the potential of AI in reshaping key sectors of the economy such as finance, agriculture, healthcare, and education, driving productivity and fostering sustainable development.
He is also expected to stress on technological advancement and the importance of building stronger regional connections.
By enhancing cross-border collaboration, Africa can unlock new opportunities for trade, innovation, and collective problem-solving.
Dr. Bawumia’s address is expected to stress that AI can serve as a unifying tool, enabling countries to share knowledge, improve governance, and harmonise policies that support economic growth.
