Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama on while both leaders were in Kwahu for the Easter festivities, according to a post by the former Ghanaian leader on Saturday.
The meeting took place as President Mahama participated in activities related to the Kwahu Business Forum, a key event held alongside the annual Easter celebrations in the enclave.

“On the Holy Saturday of Easter, whiles in Kwahu where for almost two decades I have consecutively visited during the sacred period of Easter, I called on the President of the Republic, H. E. John Dramani Mahama who is also in Kwahu,” Nana Akufo-Addo posted on his official Facebook page.

The visit underscored a moment of cordial engagement between the two leaders during one of Ghana’s most prominent festive and business gatherings.
This becomes the second time the former President and the current President are meeting since the duo met during the same occasion in 2025. Enditem
