Bawumia visits Kwame Mpianim as part of NPP rebuilding ahead of election 2028

By Francis Kobena Tandoh

In a move to get everybody on board ahead of the 2028 general election, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has paid a courtesy call on stalwart and statesman, Mr Kwame Mpianim.

According to our sources, the discussions centred on ways of rebuilding the party to make it attractive to all members and floating voters ahead of the next election.

Dr Bawumia was elected flagbearer of the leading opposition party last month and has been reaching out to party stalwarts who are angry and decided to take a backstage of party activities.

Among such persons include Dr. Arthur Kobina Kennedy, who was an avowed critic of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration.

Others, including Mr Kwadwo Mpianim, former Chief of Staff during the administration of President John Agyekum Kufuor has also visited and congratulated Dr Bawumia on his election. Enditem
