Black Stars off to Chad ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier

Ghana’s male senior national football team, the Black Stars left Accra, the capital, Tuesday afternoon for Ndjamena ahead of the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad.

The team, before their departure trained at the Accra Sports Stadium in the morning with 22 players including Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey and Tariq Lamptey.

The rest were Lawrency Ati-Zigi, Abdul Salis Samed, Mohammed Salisu, Elisha Owusu, Ibrahim Osman, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Jerry Afriyie, and Joseph Anang. Christopher Bonsu Baah, Benjamin Asare, Jonas Adjetey, Ibrahim Sulemana and Gideon Mensah.

Ghana will face Chad on Thursday in matchday 7 of the FIFA World Cup qualifier before taking on Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8. Enditem
