Breaking: GAF helicopter Z9 crashes at Adansi Akrofuom, all eight on board feared dead

A Ghana Armed Forces helicopter heading for Obuasi crashed on Wednesday morning, the GAF has confirmed.

The statement, signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin, Acting Director General in charge of Public Relations, observed that there were eight persons on board, including Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah.

“A GAF helicopter Z9 that took off this morning at 0912 hrs from Accra and heading for Obuasi is currently off the radar. All efforts are being made to establish contact. On board were 3 crew and 5 passengers. Further details to be communicated soon. Enditem
