Famous Afrobeat singer, Davido, has revealed why he carried out DNA test on his alleged teenage daughter, Aanu Adeleke.
DAILY POST reports that Aanu Adeleke had in an open letter on social media demanded a DNA test from Davido to confirm her paternity.
In response to Aanu who claimed she’s being bullied in school for not having a father, Davido disclosed he had done a total of five DNA tests from different medical centers on her in the past, and the results showed she’s not his daughter.
While threatening legal action against Aanu and her mother, Davido stated that he had never met with the woman before in his life.
His response sparked mixed reactions with many questioning why he carried out five DNA tests if he has never met with the girl’s mother before.
Reacting to the criticism, Davido in a post on X explained that his father forced him to do the test, noting that the Adelekes’ don’t play with their blood.
“You guys don’t know my father … he’s even the one that forced me to go. Adeleke’s we don’t play about Blood on this side.”
