The Inspector-General of Police (IGP, Christian Tetteh Yohuno has appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Ms. Lydia Yaako Donkor as the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
According to a statement signed by Director of Public Affairs, ACP/Mrs Grace Ansah-Akrofi, the new CID boss together with 30 others, were to ensure effective management and operational control of the service.
“The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno has today, 19th March, 2025 made the following command changes to ensure effective management and operational control of the Ghana Police Service,” said the statement.
DCOP Ms. Lydia Yaako Donkor will be assisted by DCOP/Mr. Frank Abrokwah as the Deputy Director-General of the CID. Enditem
