The number of tourist trips across Russia reached 68.9 million in the first nine months of 2025, up 5 percent year on year, local media reported Saturday.
Citing data from the Federal Statistics Service, RIA Novosti said Moscow remained the country’s top destination with 9.2 million trips, followed by Krasnodar Territory with 7.45 million and St. Petersburg with 5.4 million.
Of the total trips, Russian citizens accounted for 65.4 million, up 4.8 percent from the same period last year. Meanwhile, foreign visitors made 3.6 million trips, a 12 percent increase year on year, reflecting a steady recovery of international tourism to Russia, said the report. Enditem
