Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Bibiani Gold Stars recorded important wins on the road in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) on Sunday.
After losing to their bitterest rivals in the Super Clash last week, Kotoko returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory against Young Apostles at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.
Similarly, Bibiani Gold Stars picked all three points at stake at the Kpando Sports Stadium against Heart of Lions.
The defending champions put up a spirited performance to stage a comeback to claim a dramatic victory in the Lions den.
Accra Hearts of Oak failed to impress their fans as they settled for a 0-0 draw against struggling Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium at Legon.
