Accra Hearts of Oak struck late to pick all three points against Hohoe United in matchday 18 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Hohoe Stadium on Saturday.
The first half of the game was barren as both sides failed to convert from the chances created, though the visitors dominated possession.
Back from recess, the game proceeded just as the first half until Hearts of Oak’s Mawuli Wayo struck late in added time to score the only goal of the match for the away team.
The win moves the Phobians to third place in the league log temporarily, while the woes of Hohoe United continue to deepen as they remain 17th on the log with 18 points. Enditem
