The Accra High Court (General Jurisdiction Division 2) on Thursday morning admitted New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye to bail pending trial.
The application for bail was moved by counsel for the accused person, Nkrumah & Associates, led by Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, with the special assistance of Hon. Godfred Yeboah Dame. The application was not opposed by the prosecution, led by Hon. Dr. Justice Srem-Sai.
Upon hearing counsel, the Court granted bail to the accused person on the following terms and conditions:
i. Bail in the sum of GH¢100,000.00 with two (2) sureties to be justified;
ii. The accused person is to report to the Police CID once every two weeks;
iii. The accused person is to surrender all travel documents to the Registry of the Court;
iv. The accused person shall not travel outside the jurisdiction without the prior permission of the Registrar of the Court.

Efforts are presently underway to satisfy the bail conditions by noon to facilitate the release of the accused person by close of day.
