The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region (Province), Naser Toure Mahama, is reported dead, according to sources on Sunday.
The MP is reported to have died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after a period of illness.
It was his fourth term in Parliament, having entered the House in 2013 representing the people of Ayawaso East.
The 60-year-old former legislator is a native of Kue in the Nkwanta South District of the Oti Region. Enditem
