The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has placed 67-year-old former Chef de Cabinet or Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Finance, Ernest Darko Akore, on its wanted list, the state investigative body said in a notice late Wednesday.
The OSP said the former technical advisor is wanted pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by the High Court, Criminal Division, in the case of the Republic v. Ernest D. Akore, suit number CR/0397/2025.
According to the OSP, Akore is being investigated on the contract between the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and the Strategic Mobilisation Limited (SML).
“The suspect, a former Chef de Cabinet (Technical Advisor) at Ghana’s Ministry of Finance, is wanted in relation to an ongoing investigation into corruption and corruption-related offenses concerning the Revenue Assurance Contract between the Ghana Revenue Authority and Strategic Mobilization,” said the OSP.
